GRAND IMPRESSION
Hybrid Tea

This is a repeating large flowered Hybrid Tea with a full bloom form and a fruity fragrance. Average bloom diameter is 7" with 35 petals. Its parents are Spirit of Glasnost and Medallion. In the American Rose Society's Handbook for Selecting Roses it is classified as an apricot and apricot blend. However, in my garden it is an apricot blend with some yellow and light orange.

This beautiful, beautiful Hybrid Tea was bred in the United States in 1998 by William A. Warriner and called Monet, obviously because it is as colorful and beautiful as any Claude Monet painting. Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. (Jackson & Perkins) introduced this rose in the United States in 1999 and markets it as Grand Impression.

Grand Impression can be purchased through Jackson & Perkins Co., One Rose Lane, Medford, OR 97501-0702 USA, telephone 1-800-292-4769 and website/email www.jacksonandperkins.com. Also check with local nurseries which carry Jackson & Perkins roses.
