Moonstone
Jimmy Moser

Moonstone is truly a beautiful gem in the rose garden. This Hybrid Tea shines with big blooms that are white edged in pale pink and complemented with large leathery foliage. Moonstone loves hot weather and is a vigorous grower blooming profusely on long stems with long-lasting blooms on the bush and in the vase.

Bred in the US by Tom Carruth in 1998, it was introduced that same year as "Cadillac DeVille" by Weeks Wholesale Roses. Its parentage is Crystalline X Lynn Anderson.

The ARS Handbook for Selecting Roses rates Moonstone at 8.2. I would rate it much higher as I have found this exhibition rose to be just about the best and easiest to grow white rose around.
