REJOICE
by Dale Ericson

Rejoice is a beautiful pink blend Grandiflora with repeating blooms of 40 petals and a moderate fragrance. Dr. Thomas McMillan bred this rose in the United States in 1985 by crossing the seed of Little Darling and the pollen of Color Magic.

This Grandiflora won the first Gold Medal awarded at the American Rose Society's (ARS) trial grounds in Shreveport, LA in 1985. The ARS Handbook for Selecting Roses lists Rejoice with a performance rating of 8.0, which indicates that it is rated as a solid to very good rose and well above average.

Rejoice is wonderful for sprays as it often has as many as 7 or 8 blooms on a spray. When exhibited, it is a winner on the show table.
