Sally Holmes
Shrub

Sally Holmes, introduced in 1976, was bred by a British amateur hybridizer from a cross of R. "Ivory Fashion" and R. "Ballerina". It is a large, vigorous shrub which displays a mass of color all summer. Buff-colored buds open into 2 inch creamy white and pink single flowers of 5 petals. The golden yellow stamens are very pronounced.
The lovely clusters of blooms resemble that of a hydrangea! Sally is characterized by its free-flowing canes of leathery foliage that grow 6 to 12 feet in length and 4 feet in width.

It is disease resistant and heat tolerant. The blooms, which grow best on young, one year canes, appear delicate but are very hardy. The floriferous rose is unusually impressive and distinctive. So whether you chose to train Sally Holmes as a climber or as a part of spacious landscaping, you will enjoy its classic, refined beauty.
