SWEET VIVIAN
by Dale Ericson

This is a pink blend Floribunda with 17 petals. The blooms repeat throughout the summer and are slightly fragrant. It was bred in the United Stated by Frank Raffel in 1961 (parentage: "Little Darling" x "Odorata"). It has a National Roses In Review rating of 8.0.

I love this sweet and dainty rose. The first time I saw Sweet Vivian, I knew I had to have it in my garden. The delicate blooms are clear pink with light yellow centers and cherry pink edges. Dark green and glossy leaves set off the beautiful coloring of the blooms. It seems to bloom continually, flowering in wonderful clusters on a compact, slightly spreading two-foot plant. Sweet Vivian is and always will be a favorite of mine.
